This is Paul Jaboulet Aine Vigneron Condrieu made with 100% Viognier grapes sourced from partner winegrowers as well as a portion of their Les Grands Amandiers estate vineyard. In 2017, no Domaine wine Les Grands Amandiers 2017 was produced, so the entire crop went into this wine.
The wine is vinified partially in cement eggs and aged on fine lees for 8 months in French oak barrels, stainless steel tanks and cement eggs.
Jeb Dunnuck scored this 93 points saying "A step up over the 2018, the 2017 Condrieu Les Cassines has textbook aromas and flavors of honeyed citrus, tangerine oil, crushed rocks, and spice. Rich, beautifully textured, and balanced, it's rocking Condrieu that I suspect will continue to drink beautifully for 3-4 years or more."
