About Prosecco 071 Sachetto NV Extra Dry
The Sacchetto family started producing wine in the early ‘900s, in the Veneto region where the wine was an integral part of the history, culture and economy. Continuing the tradition the 100% Glera grapes for this Prosecco are sourced from mature vines averaging 15 years of age, grown at 600-800 feet with good southwest exposure. A soft pressing by means of a horizontal press is followed by slow fermentation of pure must at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts. Typical fruity with peach and pear scents. Citrus hints mixed with acacia and wisteria notes. It's harmonious, mellow, off-dry and fresh. Awarded a Silver Medal in the WSWA Tasting Competition. An appealing value!
