About Resonance 2021 Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

STAFF PICK!

Founded in 2013, Résonance sits in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, in a hidden part of Willamette Valley just west of the small agricultural town of Carlton. The seeds for this project had been planted when Maison Louis Jadot set out to establish its first winery outside of Burgundy. Grapes for this Résonance Pinot Noir are sourced from Resonance estate vineyards as well as from vineyards of like-minded winegrowers who are cultivating expressive Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley.

The wine showcases the absolute best of the Willamette Valley and elegantly blends Maison Louis Jadot’s winemaking with the Willamette Valley’s signature terroir.

Jacques Lardière has brought his talents as one of the premier winemakers of Burgundy, working 42 years at Louis Jadot. Grapes are hand-harvested after which they received meticulous sorting and precise destemming. After fermentation the wine aged 15 months in 30% new French oak barrels.

Wine Spectator scored this 94 points saying "Precise and elegantly structured, with detailed raspberry, savory tea and crushed stone accents that gather richness and tension toward refined tannins."
