About Sokol Blosser 2019 Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley

Sokol Blosser has been producing stellar Pinot Noir from their Dundee Hills vineyards for almost 50 years, planting their first vines in 1971. Today Sokol Blosser has survived, grown and prospered as a family-owned and run operation, and have been an important part of developing and shaping Oregon’s now prominent wine industry.  Their estate has 89 vineyard acres all certified organic.

This is the latest release of their Dundee Hills Estate Pinot Noir.

Wine Spectator scored this 91 points saying "Vibrant and gracefully structured, with pretty strawberry and cherry flavors that draw in black tea and dusky spice accents. Drink now through 2028."

James Suckling scored this 93 points saying "Aromas of elderberry, red cherry, ground clove and rosemary. Medium-bodied with fine, tense tannins. Juicy red fruit on the palate, complimented by ground spice. Lovely, fresh finish. Best after 2025."
