Here's a collaboration between Importer, Napa Valley Vintner Alex Guarachi and celebrated Central Coast Vintner Joey Tensley. Tenshen’s thought-provoking Rhône blends are tenacious and alluring. The red exhibits brooding dark fruit that is accented by Santa Barbara spice and completed by a mouthwatering finish. This 2017 is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah & Merlot aged 10 months in 20% new oak barrels.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 91 points saying "Black cherry, cola, root beer and roasted plums make for a very approachable and yet complex nose on this well-priced blend. The palate is also easy to like and not overly complicated, but carries quite a bit of intrigue with flavors of black cherry and smoked sagebrush."
