"Quality without compromise" is the motto of the Two Hands winery and by the incredible response their wines have gotten in the few years they've been in operation, it appears that they're living up to it. Raves from the likes of Harvey Steiman who said "Two Hands has become one of Australia's powerhouse producers." and Robert Parker who said "These fairly priced, brilliant offerings are full of character and personality." Grapes are sourced from South Australia's best growing regions as in the case of this Cabernet Sauvignon, all from the McLaren Vale. The many parcels making up this wine were crushed into and fermented in open top vessels, with regular pump overs three times daily to extract flavors, color and tannins. Average time on skins was 14 days. The batches were then drained and pressed to tank and then racked to barrel for oak maturation. It was aged in 15% new Taransaud French oak hogsheads. Wine Spectator scored this 93 points saying "Impressive, with a plush, seductive and succulent body, offering sink-your-teeth-into-them flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum, accented by details of dark chocolate, rose petal and savory. Drink now through 2025."
