Have you heard of the To Kalon Vineyard? Screaming Eagle? Opus One? Plumpjack? All located in Oakville. Cabernets from Oakville are the cream of the crop. That's why we're so excited and consider ourselves extremely privileged, because we just got in the latest killer Cab from Trevor Sheehan and his Precision Wine Company. This outstanding Oakville Cab was sourced from a single vineyard planted in the 1990’s on the east edge of Oakville, east of Screaming Eagle. It's a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. It's aged for 15 months in 60% new French oak barrels.


Sheehan is an awesome winemaker who continues to turn out incredible wines like this one that shows opulent layers of blackberry, bing cherry and juicy red fruit with complex nuances of violet and mocha. The tannins are beautifully polished and supple offering a rich mouth filling texture. This wine drinks exceptionally right now but has the concentration to mature slowly in your cellar over the next 4-8 years.
