For this Chard they really decided to step up and source grapes from the elite Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. Grapes from this exclusive region in Monterey end up in wines with big scores and high prices. Well, with this wine you can enjoy the lush tropical fruit flavors tinged with notes of butterscotch along with zesty, mouthwatering acidity for a real bargain price.
This just received a Platinum Medal in the Monterrey International Wine Competition and Wine Review Online scored it 92 points saying "A very polished wine for the price, showing rich apple, pear, spice and hitting my crisp and creamy marker with a viscous texture and a bright acid bump in the finish that keeps the flavor coming.
